Nabila Aviani (b. 2000) is an Indonesian-born figurative painter based in The Hague. A graduate of KABK and a member of The Raw Pulse Collective, she explores memory, relationships, and identity through highly figurative paintings. Her earlier works focused on destigmatising mental health, serving as emotional diaries capturing mania, depression, and self-exploration through raw, chaotic compositions.
Now, she reconstructs memories through vivid storytelling, humour, and collaging techniques, visualising the emotional impact of relationships. Balancing nostalgia, closure, and appreciation, her work celebrates those who stayed while reflecting on those who left. Her bold compositions transform personal experiences into universal narratives.
